The Singapore International Science Challenge (SISC) 2007 is an international science programme that provides opportunities to fuel students’ interest in science and spur them to reach for greater heights.

Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and National Junior College, the programme aims to bring together bright science students from around the world to pit their skills in a rigorous competition where they will demonstrate their knowledge in the sciences through (a) the presenting of a Research Project; and (b) coming up with a solution to the Science Challenge.

Students will have opportunities to express their creativity and demonstrate innovative thinking.  In addition to the competition for students, symposiums and workshops will be planned for participating teachers and principals.

This promotional kit represents the inter-disciplinary nature of this science competition, bringing together the main branches of classical science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) to encourage students to create novel solutions to conventional problems.

Biology:      The orchid flower
Chemistry:  The conical flask
Physics:      The mirror inverted message on the jigsaw
