All Primary 6 students with good Primary 5 and 6 results and other relevant qualifications, may apply for entry into the NJC 6-Year Integrated Programme (IP).

We do not conduct DSA under any particular CCA or niche area. However, you may highlight your particular strengths if you get shortlisted into Phase 2 of our selection.

Application Procedures and Selection Phases

Only online applications are accepted. Online applications will start only from late May 2014. Watch this space!

For students currently not studying in MOE schools, including Singapore citizens (SC), Singapore permanent residents (SPR), and international students please proceed to MOE Customer Service Centre to obtain a registration number (either in the form CExxxxxx or RGxxxxxx) before applying. 

International students without a Dependent's Pass (DP), Immigration Exemption Order (IEO) and whose parents are non-Singaporeans or PRs are also required to pass the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) before they can be considered for DSA. See MOE link for details. 

Selection Phase 1: Written Tests [12 July 2014, Saturday --- tentative date]

All applicants will be selected to participate in Selection Phase 1. You are not required to submit any school results or CCA records at this phase. 

Written Tests: Reading comprehension and Mathematical Reasoning. All tests will be taken on the same day. The total duration of the tests is approximately 3 hours. However, please be prepared to stay in NJC for about 5 hours to give time for registration, briefings and breaks.
There is only one date and time for the tests; alternative dates/times are not available.

An administrative non-refundable fee (amount to be confirmed when registration opens) will be levied to cover the cost of test materials. You will be informed to make the payment to NJC when your registration is successful. Students under the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), SAC Bursary Scheme or any school bursary scheme will have this administrative fee waived.

Selection Phase 2: Essay and Interview [late July to August 2014]

Phase 2 consists of 2 parts: Essay and Interview. Only shortlisted candidates from Selection Phase 1 will be invited for Phase 2. You will be notified to participate in this selection phase via email. This is also the phase where your school results and CCA records will be required.
Students selected for Phase 2 will attend BOTH Phase 2A and Phase 2B.
Phase 2A: Essay: You will be required to come to NJC to write a short essay for a given topic. It will be read by the interview panel.

Phase 2B: Interview: You will be invited for an interview on a scheduled day and time. The interview panel will refer to your essay as part of the interview process.
